ABOUT MARCEL SALLOUM
Born in a Beirut suburb bustling with craftsmen and merchants of diverse backgrounds, Marcel has, since childhood, always been interested in crafts and the mechanical aspect of things.
In 1999, Marcel asked the neighbouring jewellery workshop owner if he could join their team. Despite this trade being such a closely guarded skill reserved only for family members or relatives, the workshop owner did not hesitate.
AIMING FOR EXCELLENCE
Marcel knew that to make ends meet and build a future for himself doing what he loved, he needed to give it his all. A year later, the owner could see Marcel’s ability was outgrowing the limitations of his workshop and contacted his cousin to train him in the advanced skill of stone setting.

THE JEWELLERY QUARTER
After two years of steady progression and improvement, Marcel decided to take the leap into self-employment. He and a friend set up a workshop where they specialised in micro-setting diamonds into stainless steel and gold watches.
In 2005 Marcel started working for a workshop in the heart of England’s jewellery industry, Hatton Garden. Here he worked for five months before setting up a business that is now renowned for quality, reliability, innovation and design.
